Senior Legal Counsel in the Legal Division of the Central Bank of Ireland
Denis Kelleher BCL, CIPP-E, LLD, Barrister-at-Law, is a Senior Legal Counsel in the Legal Division of the Central Bank of Ireland.
He is the author of Privacy and Data Protection Law in Ireland, 2nd Edition, Bloomsbury Professional, 2015 and is currently co-authoring Data Protection Law in the European Union, which will be published by Bloomsbury Professional later this year.
He delivers the Professional Certificate in Data Protection on behalf of the Institution Banking (a college of UCD) and is an active member of the IAPP, sitting on its EU Advisory Board and co-chair of IAPP Dublin KnowledgeNet.
Previously Denis Kelleher was an Advisory Counsel in the Office of the Attorney General, Legal Counsellor in the Permanent Representation of Ireland to the European Union and Barrister in private practice.
